About the Journal

The Brazilian edition of Nursing Journal, created in July 1998, is a continuous-flow, open-access publication published by Editora MPM Comunicação. In 2017, it adopted the use of social media as an effective tool for disseminating scientific knowledge, with the creation of its profile on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. As of 2020, it has adopted continuous publication of articles. This speeds up the publication of a manuscript that has already been accepted and edited.

Revista Nursing Brasil accepts unpublished and original articles and condemns plagiarism and self-plagiarism. It accepts articles written in Portuguese, English and Spanish which must be submitted exclusively to Revista Nursing Brasil and may not be submitted simultaneously to another journal, either in part or in full. The limit is up to 8 (eight) authors per article.

Its aim is to contribute to building the knowledge of professionals in this field by disseminating scientific content.

Nursing adopts the Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 license and the open access policy, so the texts are available for anyone to read, download, copy, print, share, reuse and distribute, with due citation of the source and authorship. In such cases, no permission is required from the authors or publishers.
