Biomarcadores na Avaliação da Função Renal e Implicações para o Cuidado de Enfermagem: Revisão Integrativa

Objetivo: descrever, comparar e sintetizar evidências acerca dos biomarcadores tradicionais e emergentes empregados na avaliação da função renal. Método: revisão integrativa, com busca nas bases CINAHL, LILACS, MEDLINE/PubMed e SciELO, de janeiro a abril de 2026. Resultados: foram incluídos 37 estudos, com predomínio de delineamentos observacionais e ensaios clínicos. Os biomarcadores tradicionais, como creatinina, TFGe e albuminúria, permanecem amplamente utilizados, mas apresentam limitações na detecção precoce. Já biomarcadores como cistatina C, NGAL, KIM-1, IL-18, MCP-1, UMOD e TNFR1/TNFR2 mostraram melhor sensibilidade, valor prognóstico e capacidade de identificar alterações renais em fases iniciais, especialmente quando usados em conjunto. Conclusão: os biomarcadores emergentes ampliam a avaliação da função renal e devem ser empregados como complemento aos marcadores tradicionais, com potencial para qualificar o monitoramento clínico e o cuidado de enfermagem.
